Application & Important Information
The deadline for application materials for Young Writers 2013 was March 1st. The application site is now closed and we are no longer accepting applications.
If you have submitted application materials but have not yet received a confirmation email, please give us until Friday, March 8th to get back to you. If you still haven’t heard from us at that point, please write to youngwriters@kenyonreview.org and inquire.
Checklist of Application Materials:
The Young Writers application consists of
1) an online application form
2) a brief (300-word) application essay
3) a teacher recommendation
4) a high school transcript
5) an optional financial aid form
The teacher-recommendation form is available from the Kenyon Review office or you may download the form here [PDF]. Please ask the teacher to mail (Kenyon Review Young Writers, Finn House, 102 W. Wiggin St., Gambier, OH 43022-9623), email (youngwriters@kenyonreview.org) or fax (740-427-5417) your recommendation no later than March 1st.
Please send a transcript including all high school work thus far. Please send this by mail to Kenyon Review Young Writers, Finn House, 102 W. Wiggin St., Gambier OH 43022-9623 or by fax (740-427-5417).
