The Writers Studio
in New York City will host an evening of readings by authors whose
work has appeared in the Kenyon Review. Writers Edward Hirsch, Rebecca
McClanahan , and
Grace Schulman will read, along with faculty from the Writers Studio, including
Martha Qualben, Cynthia Weiner, and Kenyon Review board member Abigail
Wender. A book signing and reception will follow the readings. Admission
is $5.
The Writers Studio offers fiction writers and poets a stimulating
and relaxed environment in which to pursue the study of creative
writing. In addition to hosting a reading series, the school publishes
a newsletter designed to provide a forum for writers of varying
levels of experience and skills.
