The 2013 free AWP giveaway (while supplies last):

In honor of our soon-to-be-launched mobile website (!!!), this year we are giving away simple stands for your tablet/phones to encourage you to read and visit KR from those devices.  The stands are made from oak, and were milled from a tree that fell during a summer storm in Worthington, Ohio.  Supplies are limited, so be sure to stop by booth 1105 early in the conference to gets yours!  (Supplies would be unlimited, but sanding takes a long time and oak weighs a lot in checked luggage.)

Be sure to visit our mobile site! Launching soon!

The stands will accommodate a wide range of mobile devices. But there are so many devices! And they are all different sizes! While the stands will accommodate many devices, they may not fit yours perfectly.

Cutting the rough stands. Note John Crowe Ransom’s bicycles in the background.

Ready to go, with slot routed in.

Some oak boards waiting patiently to go through the planer.

Finished stands in the boxes, waiting to go to Boston. Sawdust stays to mulch the garden.
