BE CHARITABLE

men should be charitable
as a matter of policy

it is a duty and a pleasure

the liberal man will command patronage
the sordid uncharitable miser will be avoided

Solomon says:

scattereth
increaseth
withholdeth
tendeth

of course the only true charity
is that which is from the heart

the best charity is to those who help themselves
promiscuous almsgiving is bad in every sense
search out and quietly assist those struggling

scattereth and yet increaseth

don’t practice giving
prayer instead of potato
benediction instead of bread

easier to make Christians with full stomachs than empty
